What an afternoon for Heathfield Silver Band! Always an honour to play at the Sussex Association of Bonfire Societies Annual Carol Service, marching to Church, the service and marching back down Uckfield High Street playing Sussex by the Sea!
The bonfire societies in a year of difficult weather and economic stress, have still raised a staggering £48,000 for charity, after all costs and giving other funds to people throughout the year! So the real total gifted could be nearly double that.
Well done everybody involved and to our band members who have put in the miles over the three month marching season!
